NIMS Hospital (Run by Noor Institute of Medical Specialties (P) Ltd) is situated at Wandoor, in a 4.5 acre sprawling land having with 2,50,000sqft built up area. Hospital started functioning with an emblem 'Light for Life' and motto 'Care for Cure / Comfort' sticking to our vision of quality health care at affordable cost.
Wandoor is a semi urbanized village encircled by 14 Grama Panchayats. For expert management of serious patients, people had to travel more than 80 Kms to reach any multi specialty hospital. This dream project materialized in April 2005, providing comprehensive healthcare with 300 beds and modern facilities.

Late Dr. Abdul Kareem
Dr. P. Abdul Kareem (often fondly remembered as Dr. Kareem) was a deeply respected figure in Wandoor, Malappuram, known both as the visionary founder of NIMS Hospital Wandoor and as a dedicated philanthropist.
Dr Kareem was a specialist in General Medicine. Patients remember him not just for his clinical expertise, but for his empathetic bedside manner and his willingness to help those in financial distress.
Today, the hospital has grown into a 300-bed facility with modern specialties, but it still operates on the foundation of the community-centric values he established.
Late Abdullah Vellengara
Mr Abdullah Vellengara is commemorated by the institution for his excellence in leadership and for his role in materializing the "dream project" of providing comprehensive specialty care to a region where patients previously had to travel over 80 km for treatment. His family continues his legacy, with Dr. Fahad Ibnu Abdullah currently serving as the Managing Director of the hospital
